1. Data Controller
Brantviks Måleriverkstad AB (org. no. 556076-9977), Norbergsgatan 26, 214 50 Malmö, Sweden, is the data controller for the processing of personal data described in this policy. For questions, contact us at info@brantviks.se or +46 40-92 11 05.
2. What cookies and technologies do we use?
Our website keeps third-party services that set cookies to a minimum, and you choose what to accept via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
Necessary (no consent required)
- Your choice in the cookie banner (accepted/rejected) is stored locally in your browser (
localStorage) so you don't need to decide again on every visit. - Your language preference (Swedish/English) is stored the same way to show you the correct language version.
Requires your consent
- Google Maps – the map on our contact page is blocked by default. If you click to show the map, or accept cookies in the banner, Google Maps loads and Google may then set cookies and process your IP address in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
We currently do not use any analytics or marketing tracking (e.g. Google Analytics) on this website. If we add such tracking in the future, it will only be activated after you actively accept it in the cookie banner, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
The typeface we use (Inter) is served from our own server, not from Google, so no data is sent to Google merely to display the page's font.
3. Changing your cookie choice
You can change your previous choice at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page. This reopens the banner so you can accept or reject again.
4. Personal data via the contact form
When you use the contact form, your email client opens with a pre-filled message to us – the data is sent via your own email and is not stored in any database on our server. Any personal data you choose to include (name, company, email address, message) is processed by us solely to respond to your enquiry, based on our legitimate interest in handling customer contact.
5. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Obtain information about and access to the personal data we process about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Withdraw a given consent, e.g. for Google Maps, via the cookie settings.
- Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se, if you believe we are processing your data incorrectly.
Contact us at info@brantviks.se to exercise these rights.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the website's functionality changes, for example if new tracking is added. The latest version is always available on this page.
